We’re Saying it with Flowers…

They say florists are the happiest people in the world and we’re thinking that might just be true. We spent this weekend at the heart of the Harrogate Flower Show and it’s fair to say that we understand why this event puts Harrogate on the international map.

For us, it means we get to work in a beautifully smelling place with bright colours everywhere. However, it also means we have a lot of work to do! An event of this scale requires precision in planning and execution – which we like to think we do quite well. This time in particular, we had something else to add to the list during set-up…

Prior to the Harrogate based horticultural event, we decided to do something a little different. While our vintage vans and mobile units stand out from the crowd (and are well recognised by many of our customers), we went the extra mile for our flower-loving friends. Harrogate is well-known for its cherry blossom lined paths. Just in the centre of the town, you can walk across the stray beneath stunning, vibrant cherry blossom trees, which create the perfect spring backdrop for the town. With the time of year, location, and event in mind, we created an incredible cherry blossom floral installation on our Citroen HY with the help of a local florist. Our Citroen was completely transformed into a bold and beautiful feature piece, complimenting its surroundings perfectly. The front hatch had blossom overhang, with our COFFEE sign draped in the stunning flowers, too.

The feedback was so positive, we have decided to keep the installation as a permanent feature on this van, and we’re looking to create similar ones on our other vans for events, too. Our team creative, Ellie, is ready to go with several designs and styles for both our vans and our corporate coffee bars for events, exhibitions and brand activations.
