Tom’s Coffee has worked alongside Park Plaza Westminster Bridge for many years, delivering premium speciality coffee experiences for conferences, exhibitions and corporate events held within one of London’s busiest event hotels.
For FIA International Derivatives Expo (IDX) 2026, we were selected by Eurex to provide two fully branded speciality coffee bars for more than 5,000 delegates attending one of the financial industry’s leading international conferences.
The objective was to create a premium hospitality experience that reflected the quality of the Eurex brand while encouraging delegates to visit their exhibition space, network with colleagues and spend more time engaging with the team throughout the event.
Large exhibitions move incredibly quickly.
Delegates have busy schedules, keynote presentations to attend and dozens of exhibitors competing for their attention.
For Eurex, the challenge wasn’t simply serving coffee.
It was creating an environment where visitors naturally wanted to stop, take a break and spend valuable time on the stand.
With thousands of attendees over two days, the coffee experience needed to be fast, consistent and capable of handling continuous demand from the moment the exhibition doors opened until the final delegate left.
Tom’s Coffee installed two fully branded speciality coffee bars within the Eurex exhibition stand.

Each station was staffed by two experienced professional baristas, supported by dedicated event team members responsible for keeping stock replenished, maintaining immaculate presentation and ensuring the baristas could focus entirely on delivering exceptional coffee.
Using our exclusive River Coffee Signature Blend, every drink was handcrafted to speciality coffee standards, combining speed of service with outstanding quality even during the busiest periods of the exhibition.
From the moment the exhibition opened each morning, queues quickly formed as delegates gathered around the coffee bars. What started as a queue for coffee quickly became a place for conversation, networking and new business relationships, creating exactly the type of atmosphere Eurex wanted to achieve.
The most successful exhibition stands don’t simply attract visitors.
They give people a reason to stay.
A premium coffee bar naturally creates a welcoming environment where delegates feel comfortable spending time, talking with colleagues and engaging with exhibitors without feeling pressured.
Throughout FIA IDX 2026, the Eurex coffee bars became a central meeting point within the exhibition hall, with delegates returning throughout the day for another coffee and another conversation.
This is exactly why so many leading brands continue to invest in speciality coffee as part of their exhibition strategy.

Over two days, Tom’s Coffee served an incredible 4,731 handcrafted speciality drinks across two coffee bars, making it one of our busiest coffee activations of the year.
Our team consumed more than 100 kilograms of our exclusive River Coffee Signature Blend, delivering consistent quality from the first espresso of the morning to the final coffee of the afternoon.

The most popular drinks were:
Interestingly, the Cappuccino claimed the number one spot at this event, overtaking the Flat White, which is usually our most requested drink.
Most importantly, the coffee bars remained busy throughout both days, with delegates regularly returning to the Eurex stand and creating valuable opportunities for conversations between visitors and the client team.
Exhibitions are ultimately about creating opportunities for conversations.
Coffee is one of the simplest and most effective ways to make those conversations happen.
Eurex wanted a premium hospitality experience that reflected the professionalism of its business while encouraging delegates to spend more time on the stand.
By delivering exceptional speciality coffee with experienced, engaging baristas, we helped transform hospitality into one of the stand’s most valuable engagement tools.
One of the biggest lessons we’ve learnt after delivering hundreds of large-scale exhibitions is that cup size has a direct impact on service speed.
When we first supported this event several years ago, the client requested 12oz takeaway cups. While larger drinks can seem like a generous gesture, our experience quickly showed that they significantly reduced the number of coffees our baristas could produce during peak periods.
Every additional 4oz of milk requires more steaming time. Black coffees require more hot water. Those extra seconds may seem insignificant, but when you’re producing thousands of drinks over two days, they quickly become minutes, then hours, of lost serving capacity.
After reviewing the event with the client, we recommended moving to an 8oz cup for all espresso-based drinks.
The result was faster service, shorter queues, improved coffee quality and a much better experience for guests.
An 8oz cup also creates a better-balanced speciality coffee. The espresso remains the hero of the drink instead of becoming diluted by unnecessary milk, producing a richer flavour while allowing our baristas to maintain exceptional speed during busy service periods.
It’s a small operational decision, but one that demonstrates how years of experience can make a measurable difference to the success of an event.
We regularly serve thousands of speciality coffees at large-scale exhibitions and conferences. For larger events, we operate multiple coffee bars with experienced baristas and dedicated support teams to ensure fast, consistent service.
Coffee attracts visitors, encourages networking and gives delegates a reason to spend longer on your stand. Our own event research has shown that professionally managed coffee bars can increase visitor dwell time by up to four times.
